Some time ago, Microsoft confirmed that there was a OneDrive bug in Windows 10 after users installed it cumulative updates October 2022, now this bug is certainly quite inconvenient, especially if the user is someone who actively uses OneDrive, and worse, it’s not only regular OneDrive that is affected by this bug, but OneDrive for Bussines is also experiencing the same problem.

In response to this problem, after Microsoft confirmed the existence of this bug, yesterday Microsoft released update KB5020953 for Windows 10 users as part of Emergency OOB updates, where with this update, the OS build will change to 19042.2194, 19043.2194, and 19044.2194.

It addresses an issue that causes Microsoft OneDrive to stop working. This occurs after you unlink your device, stop syncing, or sign out of your account.” clear Microsoft.

So, for those of you Windows 10 users who happened to be hit by this bug, you can just update your Windows 10 with the KB5020953 update which is unfortunately not available through this page. Windows Update and you can only get it through the download page following.
