Microsoft recently demonstrated a simple step in case the user fails to perform login to Outlook with the user’s outlook.com account.
Well for those of you who happen to get an error “You can’t sign in here with a personal account. Use your work or school account instead.” when trying to login to Outlook service with email outlook.com If you have, you can do the following steps, where Microsoft recommends users to disable Support Diagnostics, which has been identified as the cause of the problem that users can’t login to Outlook.
Step 1. First, please open Regedit and then enter the following registry directory:
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice16.0OutlookOptionsGeneral
Step 2. Well next on registry key “DisableSupportDiagnostics” please edit and change it value Becomes 1.
Step 3. Restart your device.
So in the meantime, those are the steps you can take to fix the problem if you get an error when trying to log into Outlook.
