Bing first appeared in 2009 and then or rather 13 years ago until finally at the end last year 2020Microsoft changed its name to Microsoft Bing.
Regarding Bing, some time ago Microsoft announce that Microsoft Bing has finally managed to surpass 100 million daily active users, which is the biggest achievement of Microsoft Bing in its 13 years of life.

This is certainly influenced by the presence of their new AI technology, namely Bing Chat, which makes Microsoft Bing reach popularity among users, even a number of Google users seem to be interested in trying their new Bing technology.
"Two factors are driving trial and usage. One is Microsoft Edge continues to grow in usage as it has done for the last seven quarters based on the quality of our browser. We expect new capabilities, like having Bing search and create in the Edge sidebar, will bolster further growth. The second factor driving trial and usage is that our core web search ranking has taken several significant jumps in relevancy due to the introduction of the Prometheus model so our Bing search quality is at an all-time high."
As the quote above, there are two factors that make Bing reach this large number, one of which is apart from their AI technology, Microsoft Edge also has a big role considering that with the presence of Edge Sidebar, users can access Bing more quickly.
