If Microsoft Edge has features sleeping tab which is very useful for saving RAM usage on the device users are using, now Google Chrome finally gets a similar feature called Memory Saver.

This Memory Saver will work by doing suspending inactive tabsso that Google Chrome can run faster with the resource savings it has done.

The options of this Memory Saver will be available on page Settings > Performance where there will be a Memory Saver option, as well as a white list of what sites will be excluded by this feature.

Furthermore, when this feature is active, there will be a new toolbar in the omnibox that shows details of how much RAM is saved using this feature.

So, how interesting is it, isn’t it? Unfortunately, this feature has only been presented to Google Chrome Canary users first, besides that a number of old features, such as Tab Freeze, etc., are still unknown where and what their fate will be.
