Google Chrome version 111 has been released where in this version Google presents a number of interesting changes and features in it, including the presence of the Memory Saver feature which has been tested for a long time. But of all the things that Google might add, there is one feature that is quite interesting to me, namely the presence of changes to the Download Indicator in Google Chrome.

Now this change itself is a change and the presence of the download bubble icon in the toolbar area, where now the icon will display the number of downloads being carried out, for example as shown in the following image.

As shown in the image above, when a user downloads something, the download indicator will be moved to the toolbar and not at the bottom of the browser as before. (this is similar to Firefox and Microsoft Edge Chromium).

How? seems simpler right?, if you want to change the download indicator like in the picture above, luckily now we can activate it easily through Experimental Flags, and here are the short steps.

Step 1. First, please activate it Enable download bubbles from the following URL : chrome://flags/#download-bubble-v2

Step 2. Then please activate it too Enable download bubble V2 from the following URL : chrome://flags/#download-bubble-v2

After that, don’t forget to restart your Google Chrome, and now the download indicator will change as I showed above.

Now this change itself is currently available in Google Chrome version 111, but it is possible that in the next version this feature will become the default for Google Chrome and replace the old download indicator.

That’s it, easy isn’t it? Please try it guys, good luck and hopefully it’s useful.
