Price Increase, Spotify Premium Increases to $10.99 per Month for Individuals and $16.99 for Families!

On its announcement page, Spotify recently announced that they will be changing the price plan of a Spotify Premium subscription which is currently higher from $9.99 to $10.99 per month.

You can see the new price scheme in the following table, where this price is the new price that will be available in the US starting this Monday.

This price change will of course apply to a number of other regions including Indonesia, the following are some of the regions that will begin to apply the new price for this Spotify subscription package:

Andorra, Albania, Argentina, Austria, Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belgium, Bulgaria, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Denmark, Ecuador, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, United Kingdom, Greece, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Croatia, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Iceland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Monaco, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Peru, Portugal, Serbia, Sweden, Singapore, Slovenia, Slovakia, San Marino, Thailand, Türkiye, United States, Kosovo.

Even so, in Indonesia, the Spotify subscription price is still quite affordable, where the current individual package price is IDR 54,990 per month, up from the initial IDR 49,990 per month, then for other packages including the Student package there is an increase in price to IDR 27,500 per month from IDR 24,990 per month, the Duo package also increases from IDR 64,990 to IDR 71,490 and Family increases from IDR 79,000 per month to IDR 86 900 per month.

This price change will be implemented starting last Monday, where users may receive an email regarding the price change for the Spotify Premium package on the email account that the user connected to.

Even so, if you are still subscribing to the Spotify Premium package at the old price, later billing based on the new price will start the following month.
