Slowly a number of important applications and services belonging to Microsoft are running natively on Apple Silicon devices, after previously OneDrive Sync This time it’s Microsoft Teams’ turn to be available and running natively on Apple Silicon.
“We are rolling out a production grade universal binary version of Teams, which means it will run natively on the entire Mac lineup, including those with Apple silicon. For Mac users, this means a significant boost in performance, ensuring efficient use of device resources and an optimized Teams experience even when using multiple high-resolution monitors during calls or meetings.said Microsoft.
With the presence of Microsoft Teams natively, of course this will make the application run better and more stable on Apple Silicon devices compared to using emulation as before.
Even so, friends, please note that the availability of Microsoft Teams Native is only available as a Public Preview, so it may still take some time until Microsoft releases the GA (General Availabilty) version for all users.
