This was confirmed by Stephane Kasriel, Head of Meta’s Commerce & Fintech, where Meta decided to leave NFT and will focus more on other products such as reels monetization to help content creators.
In addition, according to Stephane Kasriel, Meta will streamline payments with Meta Pay and messaging payments on Meta. Meanwhile, the reason why NFT on Meta was discontinued might be because many people were not aware of the existence of this NFT in the first place.
In addition, there may be many people who find it difficult to understand the presence of NFT on Instagram and Facebook, considering that not everyone uses NFT.
And yes, this is the end of NFT on Meta, and maybe in the next few years NFT may disappear, because in the last few months NFT has started to fade and its value has decreased drastically compared to its heyday.
