There is interesting news for you Microsoft Teams users, because recently Microsoft has launched a new Teams version which is reportedly two times faster than the old version.
Now, as stated in the video above, besides getting a change in appearance which is now simpler and more minimalist, Microsoft Teams now runs with 50% less memory than the old version.
Apart from that, there are several highlights that Microsoft also disclosed on the page techcommunity which includes:
- Install apps up to 3X faster
- Launch app up to 2X faster
- Join meetings up to 2X faster
- Switch chats/channels up to 1.7X faster
- Consume up to 50% less memory
- Consume up to 70% less disk space
In addition to the improvements presented by this according to Microsoft is based on feedback from users, where this application is now based on speed, performance, flexibility and intelligence, because now Teams has received AI support from Microsoft.
Now, the Preview version of Microsoft Teams has been presented since yesterday, March 27 2023 and will soon be available to the public starting in mid-April 2023, so if you can’t wait, you can register for Teams Insider to get this latest version faster.
From what is presented, this will certainly bring even better improvements to Microsoft Teams which of course is intended to help users work more optimally.
