The AI or artificial intelligence revolution has been very popular in recent years, and even a number of large companies have introduced AI in their services.
So don’t forget, Microsoft also recently revealed ChatGPT which reportedly will be something interesting for users, besides that Panos Panay from Microsoft also in AMD’s keynote at CES clearly talked about AI integration in the Windows OS experience in the future.
In that regard, Microsoft expects to bet more on power cloudaccording to what Panos Panay said about Next Gen Windows with “blur the line between cloud and edge”.
Then will this be related to Windows 12?
In that regard, it’s a shame that Panos Panay doesn’t clearly refer to Windows 12 or the Windows versions that will launch later, but it’s possible that AI will change the way users do things on Windows as Panos Panay has to say:
“AI is going to reinvent how you do everything on Windows, quite literally. Like these large generative models, think language models, code gene models, image models; these models are so powerful, so delightful, so useful, personal. But they are also very compute intensive, and so we haven’t been able to do this before. We have never seen these intense workloads at this scale before, and they’re right here. It’s gonna need an operating system that blurs the line between cloud and edge, and that’s what we are doing right now,”
So it can be concluded that AI in Windows in the future will be integrated with the OS, where users might be assisted by the technology embedded in it, although this is still a mystery as to what it will be like, considering that Windows 12 is projected to be launched in 2024 or 2025 itself is still being done behind closed doors by Microsoft.
Also possible with AI Integration, system requirements from Windows itself will also need more in the future, so this is still a mystery.
