Earlier this year we had rumors that there was an option recovery new arrivals Windows 11 Insider Dev Build 25284where apart from the option to reset the system Microsoft started introducing options to repair the system via Windows Updates.

Time passed, and now on Windows 11 Insider Build 25905, the option is finally available by default and can be accessed via the page Settings > System > Recovery.

With this option, we can do in place upgrade to the same build without having to use the usual installation media first.

With this option all files, applications and settings will be preserved, and even though in general it can be said that the system has been reinstalled, everything will remain the same, and this option certainly requires a stable internet connection to run.

The “Fix problems using Windows update” option itself will be very useful if the user encounters quite annoying errors where system files are deleted / lost, bsods occur and require users to enter safe mode, etc., where they no longer have to use installation media. Windows 11, users can simply enter the Settings page and use this option.

So what do you think about this new feature? comment below guys and will you like it?
