Microsoft Edge Dev 111.0.1660.0 Released, Delivers Improved Workspaces

This week, users of the Microsoft Edge Chromium Dev Channel have received a new update, where the update presented is version 111.0.1660.0 which should now be obtained automatically via background updates this browser.

In this new version, there are a number of improvements that users may need to know about, and one of them is an increase in capabilities workspace, where users can now add options move all tabs to new workspace in Microsoft Edge Chromium without activating experimental flags whatever.

In addition, there are also other improvements include new policies where it was added automatic HTTPS policyrepair crashes when the user tries to copy and paste text in the search bar, fixes causing the browser to crash when the user tries to do WebAuthn Conditional Mediation requestfixed crash on sidebar and fixed a crash when the Outlook sidebar would be opened.

And apart from that, there are also other improvements coming to Microsoft Edge Dev on both Android and iOS, which include:

• Fixed browser crash when opening Favorites, Collection, or History.
• Fixed browser crash when visiting the account settings page.
• Fixed browser crash when opening the download page.

• Fixed the blank Appearance setting page.
• Fixed scrolling issues on the Share Workspace dialog.
• Fixed the Follow button in the address bar not displaying in certain scenarios.
• Android:
  • Fixed unable to close the keyboard when using the search bar.
• WebView2:
  • Permission Management API has now been promoted from the experimental stage to the public.
  • ScriptLocale API has now been promoted from the experimental stage to the public.
  • SharedBuffer API has now been promoted from the experimental stage to the public.
  • Fixed the black screen issue in certain scenarios.
• Enterprise:
  • Fixed print margin settings from resetting back to the default value when using the PrintPreviewStickySettings policy.
