An interesting news, guys, especially if you are someone who always waits for the Tab feature in File Explorer, because on Windows 11 Insider Dev Build 25136 which was released some time ago, File Explorer has now got this feature.

Now it looks more or less like in the picture above, where the tabs that are presented are very similar to the tabs in Microsoft Edge, this is certainly very good because it adds consistency between the Microsoft browser and important features in Windows 11.

Additionally, there is OneDrive improvement in File Explorer, where OneDrive Cloud Profiles will be displayed in File Explorer, exactly as in the image below.

In addition, other improvements are also present in File Explorer, where now a number of folders under This PC in the Navigation Pane have also been removed, where now This PC will focus on the Drive on the user’s PC.

This File Explorer upgrade is certainly very useful, especially the Tab feature in the File Explorer, but since it’s still in the Insider Dev Channel version, it’s possible that this feature won’t be released as before. But hopefully this feature can enter Windows 11 23H2 which is planned to be released next year.

What do you think?, WinPoin will discuss the changelog and other feature information in a future article, after my Windows 11 Insider update process is complete, so stay tuned at winpoin.com.
