Recently Microsoft went through the official page have confirmed that Windows 11 is apparently affected by a legacy bug related to SATA or Serial Advanced Technology Attachment.

Regarding this bug, it’s a related bug firmware Where internal SATA drives, either HDD or SSD misread as removable media or in unmount / eject, on the Windows Taskbar.

Internal SATA devices (HDDs or SSDs) may show as removable media in your task bar.said Microsoft.

This issue is actually a legacy issue as it has also occurred in versions of Windows newer than Vista, including 7, 8, 8.1 and even Windows 10.

Responding to this problem, if by chance you also encounter the same problem in Windows 11, where is it possible internal drives you are considered media which can be in eject on the Taskbar, you can do a number of steps that Microsoft has made on the page following.

It’s quite a shame, how come this old school bug exists in Windows 11 which is relatively new and is an OS that is an improvement from previous versions of Windows, I hope that Microsoft really overcomes this problem so it doesn’t happen again in the next version of Windows.

What do you think? comment below guys.
