Last week, Microsoft released Cumulative Update October 2022 for Windows 10, where the update presented is KB5018410, and will change the OS Build to 19042.2130, 19043.2130, and 19044.2130.

Now regarding the update, Microsoft recently added a little information on the page official, where it turns out that there is a bug that affects OneDrive if the user installs the update.

The description described by Microsoft itself is quite complete, where OneDrive may fail to work and may get an error if the user does the following things

  • Sign out or unlink your account in the Microsoft OneDrive sync app.
  • Unlink sites or folders from syncing to your device from Microsoft SharePoint or Microsoft Teams sites.
  • Uninstalling the OneDrive sync app might fail.

Now this bug itself does not only affect the Regular OneDrive application, but also affects OneDrive for Business.

Fix Coming Soon

Reporting from the official Microsoft page, these fixes and bugs are reportedly being worked on by Microsoft, and will likely be released in a future update.

“We are working on a resolution and estimate a solution will be available in the coming week.”

So are you still using Windows 10 and got this bug? if yes, comment below guys.
