Just brief information, guys, some time ago Microsoft introduced a new change to one of their services, namely Azure AD or Azure Active Directory, where now this service will change its name to Microsoft Entra ID “in the second half of 2023”.

According to Microsoft, the name change reflects the consolidation of the Microsoft Entra product family and aims to simplify the secure access experience. And apart from the name change, Microsoft hasn’t announced any changes to capabilities, licenses, pricing, URLs, APIs, or authentication libraries, unfortunately.

Meanwhile, the transition will reportedly be seamless, with Microsoft claiming that access to Azure AD will continue uninterrupted. While the name change will be implemented across all Microsoft products and services in the second half of 2023.
