Using Windows Insider does get many benefits, one of which is that we can get the latest build along with all the new features, now Windows 11 Insider Beta Build 22623 has been released, and as an Insider Beta user, of course I wanted to try that build as well.

However, when I try to update the build of Windows 11 that I’m using, I get a warning like in the following image:

This happened because I was using Intel gen 7 on Windows 11 which basically this version is not officially supported by Microsoft and the installation I did was to bypass using Rufus.

With this warning, no matter how many times I try to click check for updates in Windows Update, I get no updates.

So can we overcome this? Of course you can, and here WinPoin summarizes the short steps.

Step 1. First, please open the Registry Editor.

Step 2. Next, please enter the following Registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMSetupMoSetup

Then in the AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU section, please change the Value from 0 to 1.

Step 3. When finished, then please save changes and restart Windows 11 that we use.

Step 4. Check for updates again, and now the update has been successfully obtained.

Well, please try guys, good luck and hopefully useful.
