Credit cards and debit cards are the most common payment methods. The payment for various Apple services is no exception. Simply link a credit card or credit card, so users can pay for applications, games, music, and so on.

However, card payments are no longer possible in India. This is because of the new regulations imposed in the country.

According to the latest rules passed by the Reserve Bank of India last October 2021, every transaction must use a special Unified Payments Interface (UPI) that has been approved by the Indian government.

Apple finally confirmed this and chose to remain subject to the existing rules. Users must fill in Apple Wallet using UPI to be able to transact on Apple services.
