Apple today officially released a new iTunes update for Windows PC and laptop users. iTunes released by Apple uses the version number 12.12.4.
According to the release notes from Apple, no new features have been added. Apple focuses on bug fixes and system improvements only. What did Apple fix?
According to the Apple Support page, iTunes 12.12.4 brings bug fixes to AppleGraphicsControl, ImageIO, iTunes software, Mobile Device Service, as well as WebKit.

Apple itself has retired iTunes on Mac and MacBook, Apple is still releasing iTunes on Windows. Apple hasn’t replaced iTunes with three separate apps, namely Music, Podcasts, and TV.
