In order to improve user security, Microsoft recently introduced a new feature for OneNote users where later the user will get a kind of warning message if the file that the user downloads in OneNote turns out to contain a dangerous file.
As explained in official pageBy its way, this protection is intended to prevent users from high-risk phishing file types that have been registered on Microsoft servers.
"We add enhanced protection when users open or download an embedded file in OneNote. Users will receive a notification when the files deem dangerous to improve the file protection experience in OneNote on Windows."
Even so, this feature is currently still in testing and will likely become available in April 2023.
Now, of course, with the presence of this improvement, users no longer need to worry about downloading files embedded in OneNote, because if the file contains malware, spyware and the like, then the application will automatically warn the user via a notification that will appear in the application.
What do you think? Comment below guys, will this feature be useful for you?
