As we know, previously Microsoft brought ReFS support in Windows 11 Insider Dev Channel Build 25xxx, but since Microsoft changed Build Dev and introduced Build Canary, ReFS support seems to have now completely disappeared from Dev Channel and this certainly indicates that Microsoft may not be presenting native ReFS Support to Windows 11.

Why?, because most likely if Windows 12 is released next year, this support will likely be exclusive to that version of Windows.

Reporting from Twitter user @XenoPhanter, in Windows 11 Insider Dev Build 23403 itself, unfortunately there is no option from Setup_ReFSEnabled or Setup_AutomaticReFSDeploymentEnabled, which strengthens the rumor.

Even so, of course this is just a rumour, yes, considering that Windows 12 itself is still in the form of rumors and speculation, although it is true that Microsoft itself has confirmed that they will update the Windows version every three years, and next year, it will be exactly three years since the first Windows. 11 introduced.

In addition, it is still unknown that Insider Canary Build 25000 is currently intended for the development and testing path of Windows 12.

What do you think about these speculations and rumors? do you agree that ReFS will likely be an exclusive feature of Windows 12? comment below guys.
