It doesn’t feel like it, today we have entered the beginning of 2023, before that I would like to wish all WinPoin readers a happy new year, how was the holiday fun?
So friends, let’s start this year with news from Windows 11 22H2, where some time ago a number of AMD Ryzen users reported that their devices were suddenly crashing.freezeze after updating the system with update KB5021255.
For those who forgot, the KB5021255 update itself is cumulative update / patch tue day which was released in December 2022. So, you can see some of these problem reports in posts on the Reddit page following.
“After installing this update on Windows 11 22H2, our clients with AMD CPU’s started to completely freeze up at random times for minutes, then unfreeze again.”
Meanwhile, Windows 11 21H2 users don’t appear to be affected by this issue, nor do users who haven’t updated to Build 22621.963.
Until now, if you also encounter the same problem, you can temporarily remove the update or wait for an update from Microsoft which will probably be released in cumulative updates this January 2023.
Oh yes, this problem is also unfortunately not confirmed by Microsoft on the page Its Windows 11 Health Dashboard but hopefully the fix will be presented soon.
What do you think? comment below guys.
