The fantastic number of downloads in this short time is actually still on hold, given the news Meta still haven’t gotten permission for Threads to run in the EU or European Union including the UK and friends. Imagine if Threads could be downloaded in all countries, then the number of downloads would be even more drastic.
So, will there be an application that rivals this new record in the future? maybe there is, but it will be very difficult considering that this amount is not small and 7 days is not a long time if it is calculated based on statistical data for other applications with the same amount.
