Elon Musk said that Tesla is currently considering adopting Apple AirPlay technology to improve audio quality in Tesla cars.
This information was obtained from a tweet from his official Twitter account after answering ShibaDoge’s tweet. He is aware of the poor audio quality and is considering options to improve the audio quality.
The wireless technology currently used in Tesla is Bluetooth. By using AirPlay, in theory the quality of the audio will be better with a more stable connection.
AirPlay uses Wi-Fi technology instead of Bluetooth. Fortunately Tesla cars already have the infrastructure, so implementing AirPlay will certainly be easier.
