Recently selected users of the latest Microsoft Edge Chromium Canary got an enhancement to the features it allows users to perform grouping on similar tabs or “group similar tabs”.
Regarding this feature, based on information from Reddit users u/Leopeva64-2 at the moment it looks like this feature will group tabs with similar titles, but Possible in the future the grouping criteria will be different, for example grouping tabs by domain or something similar.
Apart from these capabilities, it seems that Microsoft also wants all Edge features to be integrated with the sidebar, going forward maybe there is button to open “Find on Page” in the sidebar
Now the two capabilities above have only been launched on a limited basis for Microsoft Edge Chromium Canary users, however, it is possible that this feature may not be released in the future.
