We may already know that just like Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge Chromium also has the ability to PDFViewer which of course has more useful features for users.

Now regarding Microsoft Edge Chromium, recently in the Canary version 116.0.1934.0 it turns out that there is one hidden feature, namely “EdgePhoto”.

What is EdgePhoto?, yep, as the name suggests, this feature is a feature ImageViewer which is currently unfortunately still very raw, buggy and unstable, curious how it looks? here’s a demonstration video:

As in the demo video above, basically this feature is like an image viewer in general with a selection of images stored in the same folder on the side of the browser.

The basic function itself is the same as Image Viewer, where reportedly this feature can open several image formats such as jpeg, png, and other common formats.

Now this feature itself can be activated by the user by changing Properties > Target and added –enable-features=msEdgePhoto.

So, what do you think about this feature? Although this feature is currently still in testing and may not be available on Edge Stable, of course this is still a question, why does Microsoft often add features that can be said users won’t use, especially every OS for sure? own imageviewer which is somewhat better and faster than having to open an image from a browser.

Comment your opinion below guys.
