As previously reported, Microsoft Will Show OneDrive Storage Warning in Windows 11where for those of you who may be Windows Insider Dev Channel users, you have started to get this feature.
But if by chance you are currently using the latest Windows 11 Insider Dev and haven’t gotten this feature, you can actually activate it manually using ViveTool.
Curious how? The following WinPoin summarizes the short steps.
step 1. First, please download ViveTool which you can get from the page following.
Step 2. Next Extract the ViveTool that you downloaded, and please open the Command Prompt as Administrator.
Step 3. Next, in the Command Prompt, please enter the ViveTool directory that you extracted.
Step 4. Next, please enter the following command.
./vivetool /enable /id:41061894
After that, please restart your Windows 11 and now OneDrive Alerts will appear on the Settings page if your storage is running low, an example is as follows.
With this notification, of course it will be easier for you to find out about the number of users of your OneDrive storage that is running low, and I think this feature will certainly help users who are actively using OneDrive.
