How to Add ‘Permanently Delete’ in Windows 11 Context Menu

When we want to delete a file, we usually delete it by Right Clicking (the file / folder to be deleted), then clicking Delete, so with that method, the deleted file or folder will be stored first in Recyclebin and still can we restore if we want to use or access the file or folder.

To delete permanently, we can also use keyboard shortcuts SHIFT + DEL which is the option of permanently deleting files/folders without saving to recycle bin first, then can we add an option permanently delete to the context menu so we don’t need to use keyboard shortcuts?, the answer is of course you can guys, and here WinPoin summarizes the short steps.

Step 1. First, please open the Registry Editor.

Step 2. Next, please log in registry keys following:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTAllFilesystemObjectsshell

Step 3. Next, please do it key newly named Windows. PermanentDelete in the keys shellhow to right click > New > Key.

Step 4. In the Windows. PermanentDelete that we have made, please you make new strings by the name ExplorerCommandHandler and fill the Value in it with {E9571AB2-AD92-4ec6-8924-4E5AD33790F5}

Step 5. After ExplorerCommandHandler made, please do Icons, Position and CommandStateSync with the same method with the following conditions: (Strings Icons filled with Value shell32. dll, -240, Strings Position filled with Value Top or bottom (here I just use Botom), and Strings CommandStateSync filled with Value (empty), the result should be like in the following image:

And if it’s finished, please open Task Manager > Process > Then Restart Windows Explorer.

Now, because in Windows 11, the Context Menu has been changed to be more modern, you have to open it Show more options to see options Permanently delete this.
