After yesterday Microsoft released Windows 11 Insider Dev Build 23424 And Windows 11 Insider Canary Build 25330 both of which brought improvements to the Microsoft Store, today Microsoft also released a new update for Windows Insider Beta users which as usual is divided into two different builds.
The update that is presented itself is KB5022910 and will change the OS Build to 22621.1537 and 22624.1537, where in this update, Microsoft is adding a number of improvements where one of them is the presence Access keys in File Explorer.
With this Access Key, users can access various options and menus reliably shortcut keystrokes and this ability is certainly very suitable for those of you who often rely on keyboard shortcuts.
Apart from that, Microsoft has also added an option for Live Kernel Memory Dump, where this capability will allow users to retrieve diagnostic data if there is a problem with the system without having to wait for the BSOD to occur first.
Previously, usually when the system experienced a BSOD (Crash) / Blue Screen, the OS would automatically create one kernel memory dumps which will be useful for the advanced user see and analyze what problems are happening in their system, and with the presence of new capabilities in the Task Manager, users do not have to wait for a BSOD to create kernel memory dumps.
As shown above, this new option will be present in Task Manager > Details > then on one of the processes, you can right click and there will be an option (Create live kernel memory dump file) there, and of course users can also set options for Live Kernel Memory Dump in the Task Manager Settings page.

This capability has also been introduced in Windows 11 Insider Dev Build 23419.
Other than that, same as Windows 11 Insider Dev Build 23424Microsoft also presents Content Adaptive Brightness Control (CABC) on supported devices, where you can see these settings on the Settings > System > Display page.
At a glance regarding this improvement, users can now adjust brightness via Settings > System > Display under “Brightness & color” and via a drop-down menu with 3 options, namely Off, Always, and “On Battery Only”.

For battery-powered devices such as laptops and 2-in-1s, the default is “On Battery Only”. On desktop PCs, it is disabled by default.
Other Fixes and Improvements
Apart from the three things highlighted above, there are a number of improvements that Microsoft has added, specifically for Build 22624.1537, now the Microsoft Support Diagnostic Tool (MSDT) has begun to be transferred to Settings > System > Troubleshoot. This is in line with Microsoft’s announcement regarding MSDT Death For Next Windows Version.
For improvements to both builds, there are a number of things that Microsoft has also introduced, which include:
- The presence of the Bing Chat button in the Search Box on the Taskbar, where when clicked the user will be directed to the Bing Chat page via Microsoft Edge.
- There is an improvement in Logon performance after Boot.
- Fixed the seconds option in the System Tray that wasn’t working before.
- There is an improvement on show hidden icon flyout which sometimes does not appear correctly.
- Improvements to BitLocker CSV.

Now for you Windows Insider Beta users, you can get the update KB5022910 through the Settings page > Windows Update.
Make sure you have updated your system because there are many improvements presented in this build.
