ViveTools, a simple application developed by @albacore has become one of the applications open source most used by Windows OS users, especially if the user often explores the system and activates a number of features that are still under development.

Well friends, in version 0.3.1, there are a number of improvements that will make it easier for users to identify and maintain features in Windows OS with the Export and Import Feature Configurations feature.

So in other words, we can export ViveTool configuration data and import the configuration file on other devices easily without having to configure from scratch as usual. This is of course very important if you often check the system on not just one device.

In addition to the Export and Import features, there are a number of other features which you can see in the following changelog.

  • New command syntax.
  • Improved boot persistence to keep features working after restarts.
  • Support for identifying features by names.
  • Revised data types and struct bitfield sizes.
  • Greatly improved library performance.
  • Featured configuration import and export.
  • ‘Last Known Good’ rollback system management.
  • Full reset command.
  • Update check command.

So what do you think about this update, are you an Insider who is also a user of this application? comment below guys.
