Recently, Microsoft announce that Windows 11 is ready for broad deploymentthis is also supported by the massive adoption of Windows 11 in the last few months, even greater when Windows 10 was first released first.
In post last January written by Panos Panay, Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer at Microsoftwhich is as follows:
“Since the launch of Windows 11 in October, we have seen strong demand and preference for Windows 11 with people accepting the upgrade offer to Windows 11 at twice the rate we saw for Windows 10. Windows 11 also has the highest quality scores and product satisfaction of any version of Windows we’ve ever shipped. Product quality was a huge focus for the team, and we took a deliberate and phased approach to how we rolled out the upgrade.”
Panos Panay explicitly explained that Windows 11 was of higher quality and had a higher quality than the version of Windows that Microsoft had released.
And last time, at the Computex 2022 event, Panos Panay in his discussion with Nicole Dezen, CVP of Device Partner Sales at Microsoft, reiterated that the quality of the OS is still a priority for the development team for Windows 11.
“And it (Windows 11) has the highest quality scores. Here’s the most important thing for our team, quality, quality, quality. People using it are finding the quality in the product, which has just been awesome. That also translates to product satisfaction. It is the highest product satisfaction of any version of Windows we’ve ever shipped. You kind of see that.“
Although currently Windows 11 still has quite a lot of shortcomings, but with the confirmation of Panos Panay who incidentally served as Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer at Microsoftit can be said that Microsoft will make Windows 11 its golden child, where as Panos Panay has explained, even the development team at Microsoft itself makes Windows 11 a priority.
