Some time ago, as usual according to Microsoft’s monthly schedule, in the middle of the month Microsoft will release cumulative updates for the versions of Windows they still support, including Windows 11 of course.

Now on Windows 11, this month’s update that was launched is the KB5014697 update, where this update will change the Build OS to 220000.739.

Reported from official page Microsoft, unfortunately there are no complete details about what was fixed, other than information that this update fixes security problems from Windows 11 as well as improvements in the quality of the OS itself.

But friends, it should be noted that there is one known issue noted by Microsoft, which applies to IT admins, because after installing this update, some .NET Framework 3.5 applications may fail to open.

“After installing this update, some .NET Framework 3.5 apps might have issues or might fail to open. Affected apps are using certain optional components in .NET Framework 3.5, such as Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Windows Workflow (WWF) components.” Note Microsoft.

If you want to update your Windows 11, you can just go to Settings > Windows Update > Check for Updates.
