The Windows operating system is inseparable from its name file explorer or explorer.exe where without this component, we can’t even access the files on our device easily.
Well regarding file explorer, you know, like that reported developer Start Is All Backit turns out that there is an interesting feature in Windows 11 Insider Dev Build 25252 where Microsoft seems to be trying to move immersive shell from Explorer.
Immersiveshell itself was added to the Windows operating system since Windows 8, and was originally responsible for features such as charms bar, this component itself is associated with a process called ShellAppRuntime.exe which is bound at explorer.exe.
With this change, later start ShellAppRuntime.exe independently is possible, which of course will provide benefits to increase system stability, because later users can turn off explorer.exe without impacting other Windows components.
So in other words, Microsoft wants to further polish the changes in the upcoming build, even though this may still be far away, this is a pretty good thing for us users who want stability in Microsoft’s latest operating system.
