How to Turn off Auto Update in the Microsoft Store

Just like the Google Play Store on Android and the App Store on Apple Devices, the Microsoft Store also has an Auto Update feature which is of course very useful to continue to ensure that the applications that users use are kept updated and up to date.

But what if the user relies on an internet connection that depends on mobile data tethering? Of course that will waste a bit of quota right, so that’s why it’s a good idea to turn off this feature, guys.

Okay, straight away, here are the short steps.

Step 1. First, please open Microsoft Store.

Step 2. Next click on the icon our user accounts.

Then click App Settings.

Step 3. On the Settings page that will open, please disable the section App Updates, like in the following picture.

And it’s finished, now the application in the Microsoft Store will not be updated automatically unless you click on it Libraries > then click Get updates Manually.
