Maybe this is already familiar to operating system users, because every Windows version that has been released, of course, has a Hosts file. Where the hosts file provides a mechanism for changing website addresses to IP addresses.

Now and interestingly, for those of you who don’t use it firewalls third party, the hosts file is usually frequently modified by users, with the aim of block activation of paid software or anything else.

Then, if you have changed the hosts file and want to reset and restore the contents of the hosts file as default, is that possible? of course you can guys, and the steps are very easy.

Step 1. First, you can open Notepad.

Step 2. Next, please paste following line of text:

# Copyright (c) 1993-2009 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
# 127.0.0.1 localhost
# ::1 localhost

Step 3. Next click File > Save asthen select an option All files in section save as type and name it “hosts”.

Save it in the folder you want, for example Desktop or Downloads.

Step 4. After saving, now you move it to directory

%WinDir%System32Driversetc

Or C:WindowsSystem32driversetc

And it’s finished, if you don’t want to skip steps 1 to 3, you can simply download the Hosts file that WinPoin has provided on the page following Of course, then you just need to do the fourth step and save it in the specified directory.

Please try guys, hopefully useful.
