Are you a ChatGPT user? If so, then there is interesting news, because according to information from Group-IB (a cybersecurity company from Singapore, more than 100,000 account credentials have been leaked and sold on the dark web.
Group-IB identified more than 100 thousand log stealer in various underground web where in May 2023 yesterday one of the users uploaded 26,800 new ChatGPT credentials.
Additionally, based on data shared by Group-IB, Asia-Pacific had nearly 41,000 compromised accounts between June 2022 and May 2023, followed by the Middle East and Africa, Europe and North America.

Of course, this leak did not occur without reason because the ChatGPT account that experienced the leak was attacked by malware stealer.
And what’s worse, most of the victims came from the United States, France, Morocco, Pakistan, Brazil, and especially Indonesia, which contributed the most data for ChatGPT accounts that were affected by stealer malware info using a method known as stealer-as-a-service.
Then what data was leaked?, Group-IB added that the data contained domain visited, including the IP addresses of the victims.
So the point is, again, nothing is safe on the Internet, not even on ChatGPT, so be careful what you type in ChatGPT because we might not be able to know what will happen if this leak continues.
