Not everyone likes to listen to Spotify non-stop. In fact, while you’re studying, working, or just about to sleep, you may want to listen to Spotify for a while and after a certain amount of time, your hope is that Spotify can stop without you having to turn it off — afraid you’ll run out until morning.

If so, you may be wondering: does Spotify have a feature similar to a sleep timer?

If you ask like that, then the answer is Yya, Spotify does have a sleep timer feature. However, this feature is only available in the mobile app for Android and iOS devices. Spotify actually implemented a sleep timer function for the first time in 2019 with the aim of saving battery life.

Currently, you can set a sleep timer to end playback after 5, 10, 15, 30, 45 minutes, 1 hour, or when at the end of a song (track). Unfortunately, tthere’s no way to set a Spotify sleep timer that’s older than the one DroidPoin mentioned earlier.

Then for those of you who don’t know how to use it, please follow the steps that DroidPoin has prepared below:

  • Open the Spotify app on your iOS or Android device.
  • Start playing the song.
  • Then, in full screen select the “more” option or the icon with three dots at the top right.
  • Later a new window will appear and what you do next is scroll down until you find the sleep timer option.
  • Choose how long you want to listen to the music until the app will automatically stop playing.
  • Done

That’s how to use the sleep timer feature on Spotify, how easy is it, isn’t it?
