This option will later become available on the page Settings > Personalization > Lightning as shown in the following figure:
Now regarding this feature itself, currently users still have to download and install it software from hardware vendors to set RGB Lightning, but with the presence of this feature in Windows 11, later users can manage the same device without the help of additional applications.
And even though this feature is currently under development, there are still many features that are not yet available, where at this time, the capabilities presented by the Lightning feature in Windows 11 only include, adjusting Color, Brightness, Effects and Speed from RGB Lightning devices only.
How to Enable This Ability
As always, user @PhantomOfEarth at Twitter has shared special steps for those of you who want to try this feature where these steps include:
Step 1. Downloads ViveTool from the following GitHub page, then Extract as usual.
Step 2. Open Command Prompt as Administrator and enter the Directory where ViveTool is located, and continue by entering the following two commands sequentially.
c:vivetoolvivetool /enable /id:41355275 c:vivetoolvivetool /enable /id:35262205
Step 3. Restart your Windows 11, and now new options are available on the page Settings > Personalization > Lightning.
Please try it guys, and keep in mind that maybe not all devices support this feature, but it doesn’t hurt to try it right.
Don’t forget to comment below and give your opinion about this new feature.
