As a WhatsApp user, sometimes I get various calls that are not needed, especially credit card promotions, even online gambling. Sometimes I am also confused about where they got my number.

And on that matter, it looks like WhatsApp heard user complaints it seems that I’m not the only one experiencing this, where later the WhatsApp application will get a feature called ‘Silence unknown callers’ which functions to silence calls from unknown numbers automatically.
As in the picture in section WABetaInfo above, this ‘Silence unknown callers’ will be available as google which users can set via the Settings page on WhatsApp.
So for now, this feature is still in internal testing, but may soon be available in the next few months. To be honest, I would really like this feature, especially with the many cases of foreign calls with strange promos coming to my WhatsApp.
