Some time ago Microsoft released Windows 11 Insider Dev Build 25309 which in the build brings a lot of changes including improvements search box And snap layouts new.
But friends, it turns out that there is a new feature that has been made an optional feature in Windows 11 and maybe in the future Microsoft plans to remove it, and yep according to the title, this feature is VBScript.
As shown above, in Windows 11 Insider Dev Build 25309, VBScript has become part of the optional features in Settings > Apps, where users can remove these features from Windows 11.
And if the feature is removed, of course a number of commands and tools are included slmgr in Command Prompt won’t run as it should.
Even though there is no definite information whether this feature will be removed in the future, by making it optional, users can easily set whether to turn it off or not according to the user’s own needs, and to be honest, this is a good decision from Microsoft, considering that VBScript could become source of vulnerability for Windows 11 systems.
