In the last few months Microsoft Edge Chromium has continued to gain popularity among the public, this is of course due to Microsoft’s move to bring this browser by default in Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Based on information from StatCounter, Microsoft Edge is currently gaining 10.11% global desktop browser market sharewhich in May 2022, saw an increase of 0.04%.

Meanwhile, Google Chrome still found the first position with a value of 66.1%. And here is desktop global market share based on data from StatCounter:

  1. Google Chrome – 66.1% (-0.57)
  2. Microsoft Edge – 10.11% (+0.04)
  3. Apple Safari – 9.16% (-0.46)
  4. Mozilla Firefox – 7.66% (-0.21)
  5. Opera – 2.81% (+0.37)

Meanwhile, here are the data for mobile global market share :

  1. Google Chrome – 64.83% (+1.26)
  2. Apple Safari – 24.77% (-0.05)
  3. Samsung Internet – 4.84% (-0.06)
  4. Opera – 1.72% (-0.16)
  5. UC Browser – 1.25% (-0.16)

On mobile devices, unfortunately, Microsoft Edge Chromium is less attractive to users, because it is less popular than other competitors.
