Even though it was just released a few hours ago, it turns out that quite a few users have reported that the download and install speed is from Windows 11 Insider Preview 25276 slower than it should be. This of course causes problems, especially for users who want to immediately try using this OS and even use the OS for development and testing purposes.
In its own changelog page, Microsoft added this as known issues brand new with:
“[NEW] Some users are experiencing longer than expected update times installing recent builds. We are actively investigating this issue.“
And meanwhile, Brandon LeBlanc from Microsoft through his Twitter page said that they are currently looking for this problem and trying to fix it.
So, if you are a Windows Insider Dev Channel user trying to download and install this update directly via Windows Update, you may encounter the problem described above, where even if your internet speed is fast, download and update speeds may feel slower than usual. .
Meanwhile, even though Microsoft has confirmed this problem, there has been no update regarding whether they have resolved this problem or not at all.
