According to the schedule that Microsoft has set, Internet Explorer actually it’s officially over on June 15, 2022, at which point all Microsoft support for this browser will end.
Then six months later, on February 14 2023, Internet Explorer users via the cumulative update for February 2023 will begin to be transferred to Microsoft Edge Chromium.

So if you are a Windows 10 user, and you have currently installed the February 2023 cumulative update as noted on page followingevery time you open Internet Explorer for your use, you will be redirected to Microsoft Edge along with notification information as shown in the following image:
Meanwhile, on June 13, 2023, all visual references such as the Internet Explorer icon on the start menu, taskbar and others will begin to be removed from the operating system.
Well actually, if you still need Internet Explorer support for example opening some old school sites, don’t worry guys because Microsoft Edge has Internet Explorer Mode embedded by default in this browser.
But generally, most sites on the Internet are now not very compatible with Internet Explorer, so even though Internet Explorer has officially ended, you won’t really feel the effects of this change.
