A new announcement has been published by Microsoft in official page them, where they are now bringing out a number of new details about Internet Explorer 11.

Well based on the announcement, Microsoft will use update Microsoft Edge to send patches which will remove Internet Explorer, the update is planned for February 14, 2023, and with this update, Microsoft wants to help organizations ensure a smoother and easier transition from Internet Explorer to Microsoft Edge.

The retired, out-of-support Internet Explorer 11 desktop application is scheduled to be permanently disabled through a Microsoft Edge update on certain versions of Windows 10 on February 14, 2023. wrote Microsoft in the Internet Explorer 11 desktop app retirement FAQ page.

With this update, all devices that are not yet ready to switch from Internet Explorer to Microsoft Edge will begin to be automatically switched.

“All remaining devices that have not already been redirected from IE11 to Microsoft Edge are scheduled to be redirected on February 14, 2023” Microsoft said.

Now, the transition from Internet Explorer to Microsoft Edge has actually started a few months ago, but until now there are still quite a lot of devices that still need it, so that Microsoft still hasn’t automatically transferred all websites opened on the Internet to Microsoft Edge, even You Can Still Use Internet Explorer in Windows 11 with a little tweak you can do.
