Just a few days since the official announcement at the impromptu event on February 7, 2023, it is now reported that around 1 million users have become waiting list to try the new Microsoft Bing already powered by AI.
Regarding this, Yusuf Mehdi, who serves as Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President and Consumer Chief Marketing Officer at Microsoft, recently posted tweets which he revealed that 48 hours after the Bing Waitlist was presented, there were already more than 1 million users signed up to get access to chatbots new to the Bing Search Engine.
Meanwhile, the number of downloads of the Bing app on mobile devices has now skyrocketed as Microsoft offers faster access to the new Bing by requiring users to make Microsoft’s browser their default and also download Bing on Android and iOS.

At this time, maybe Bing has gained popularity which has increased dramatically since Microsoft and OpenAI collaborated to make Bing more powerful and more useful for users to use, but it is not known how long this peak of popularity will last considering that Google and even Baidu have also designed something similar.
