After yesterday Mark Zuckerberg indirectly sent a satire in the form of a Meme to Elon Musk on Twitter which described Threads vs Twitter with an illustration of Spiderman as you may have seen, Elon Musk did not reply to the post but immediately sent a lawsuit through his lawyer Alex Spiro to Threads for allegations of misusing or scraping Twitter data by Threads.

Regarding this information, Twitter has sent official law to Meta (via Semaphore ) where they demanded that Meta “take immediate steps to stop using Twitter trade secrets or other highly confidential information.” This letter was sent by Twitter attorney Alex Spiro to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

"Over the past year, Meta has hired dozens of former Twitter employees. Twitter knows that these employees previously worked at Twitter; that these employees had and continue to have access to Twitter’s trade secrets and other highly confidential information; that these employees owe ongoing obligations to Twitter; and that many of these employees have improperly retained Twitter documents and electronic devices."

And in fact, the letter also alleges that Meta hired a former Twitter employee who, unfortunately, but cannot be named, to help build the “Threads” application.

"Twitter reserves all rights, including, but not limited to, the right to seek both civil remedies and injunctive relief without further notice to prevent any further retention, disclosure, or use of its intellectual property by Meta."

Reported from Neowin, Semaphore reached out to Meta for comment, and an unnamed source from the company claims that Twitter’s allegations are untrue. He claims that no one working at Threads on his engineering team is a former Twitter employee.

So, will this claim last? let’s see in the future, considering that Threads will probably continue to grow rapidly because it is supported by other Meta social media including Instagram and Facebook, of course the number of users is very large.

What do you think? comment below guys.
