Recently Microsoft announced that they have released a new tool for Microsoft Edge Chromium, called Browser Essential, this tool will allow users to monitor the performance and security of the browser they are using.
As you can see in the image above, later users can set certain options such as Efficiency Mode more easily from this Essential Browser, and you can even see how many dangerous sites have been blocked by the Browser.
As additional information, this Essential Browser basically contains reports from Smartscreen and scan results, where as shown above, the number of dangerous sites that are blocked is the result of scanning from Smartscreen in Microsoft Edge Chromium.
Regarding this feature, now the new Essential Browser is available in Microsoft Edge Canary and a small portion of Edge Dev users, but of course Microsoft expects feedback from users.
