An important news for those of you who subscribe to Youtube Premium, because guys, Google will start increasing the price of the Youtube Premium subscription package starting November 21, 2022 later.
For now, as quoted from page 9toGoogle, Google has imposed new subscription prices for the following regions:
- United States: $17.99 -> $22.99
- Canada: CA$17.99 -> CA$22.99
- UK: £17.99 -> £19.99
- Argentina: Individual plan ARS 119 -> ARS 389 – Family plan ARS 179 -> ARS 699
- Turkey (individual plan): 16.99 TRY -> 29.99 TRY
- Japan: 1,780 -> 2,280
However, for the Indonesian region, there is still no information whether the same will apply, however, if we look at the Google page followingsooner or later the Indonesian region will get the price change.
Increment Notification will be Sent Via Email!
For Youtube Premium users who are currently subscribed, Google will send an email 30 days before the price change takes effect, which is reported from the same source, the email that users will receive is approximately as follows:
“We created YouTube Premium to provide an uninterrupted YouTube experience, so you can get closer to the videos, creators, and music artists that you love. To continue delivering great service and features, we will be increasing your Premium family plan price from $17.99/month to $22.99/month. This change will take place on your next billing cycle starting on or after November 21, 2022. To check the status of your account and billing information, go to your Settings > Purchases and Memberships page. All members have the flexibility to pause or cancel anytime here.” quoted from Google
Now this price change does not only apply to individual users, but also to users family package.
It is really unfortunate, because it seems that this is also affected by the world economy which is getting worse day by day, hopefully the Indonesian region will not be affected by this.
