Now for those of you who have updated Windows 11 to this latest build, maybe you have seen and tried a number of the new features that are presented, including an improved search box, options recording on the Snipping Tool and others, but did you know that this update is quite a lot of users discussing as an update that becomes Bing and Edge ads.
Why?, because in this update release note, Microsoft reveals more and introduces the capabilities of AI-powered Bing on the Windows 11 Taskbar.
If you are curious, please take a look at the release note page which you can access on the following page, where there are lots of announcements and information about AI, Advanced AI, Bing and Edge which don’t even focus on the latest functions and updates on Windows itself.
And in general it might be said that this update, especially the release note and the announcement from Microsoft, can be said as an advertisement so that users use the search function more because according to Microsoft it is more sophisticated than before.
But unfortunately even if Bing Chat is presented in Windows Search, users cannot access anything directly and what users are looking for will still be redirected to Microsoft Edge first.
Even though based on what Microsoft said, this new feature is enabled to make it easier for users, but in reality this feature still cannot run without Edge Chromium.
"Today, we take the next major step forward adding to the incredible breadth and ease of use of the Windows PC by implementing a typable Windows search box and the amazing capability of the new AI-powered Bing directly into the taskbar. Putting all your search needs for Windows in one easy to find location. The search box is one of the most widely used features on Windows, with over half a billion users every month, and now with the typable Windows search box and the new AI-powered Bing front and center to this experience you will be empowered to find the answers you’re looking for, faster than ever before."
But of course this update is actually not a bad update, considering that there are many new features that have also been introduced, but unfortunately Microsoft seems to be focusing more on Bing and Edge in this release note update which of course makes many users protest about this.
So what do you think? comment below guys.
