Unlike the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 variant, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip is a mid-range 5G chip based on Samsung’s 4nm architecture. When compared to the Snapdragon 778G chip released last year, this chip offers significant performance benefits thanks to a powerful CPU composition and Adreno 662 GPU. Qualcomm claims that this new chip can handle graphics 20% faster than Snapdragon 778G and also increases the performance of the Snapdragon 778G. AI up to 30%.
